Carson City Fire Department called to structure fire on Tiger Drive
An adult man and a dog were victims of a fatal mobile home fire Thursday on Tiger Drive, according to the Carson City Fire Department. Go here for the updated version of this story.

UPDATE 1:57PM: A man was gravely injured in a mobile home fire Thursday afternoon on Tiger Drive in Carson City. A dog died at the scene as firefighters attempted to save it using CPR, said Carson City Fire Chief Bob Schreihans.
The man's injuries are critical, suffering from severe hypoxia due to smoke inhalation, he said. He was transported to the hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

UPDATE; The Carson City Fire Department reports the fire was extinguished at 1:48 p.m., Southwest Gas is on the scene. The fire is under investigation.

The Carson City Fire Department was called to a structure fire Thursday afternoon on Tiger Drive. The call came into dispatch at 1:10 p.m. multiple fire units are responding.
Dispatch said there are two rescues in progress, one for a person and one for a pet.
Motorists should stay out of the area to allow for fire equipment. Tiger Drive is located in a mobile home park off of Hot Springs Road in north Carson City.
