Retired law enforcement officer, author to give talk at Nevada State Library March 12
Learn about Nevada in small bites at the next Brown Bag Author Talk Series Tuesday, March 12 from 12-1 p.m. in training room 110 of the Nevada State Library, 100 N. Stewart Street in Carson City.
Join author and retired Humboldt County Undersheriff Curtiss Kull as he spins true and exciting tales lof life in Humboldt County at the turn of the last century and reads from his historical fiction novel, "The Last Horseback Lawman."
While keeping the peace in the vast and untamed wilderness of early 1900s Nevada, Humboldt County Sheriff S. Graham Lamb and his only deputy confront ranchers and cattle rustler, cowboys and killers, taverns, whore houses, and the occasional brawl.
Light refreshments will be served at the event.
