Carson City Senior Center to hold presentations on seniors and scams March 5 and March 7-8
Upcoming Carson City Senior Center presentations in March will focus on scams and seniors highlighting National Consumer Protection Week.
The Carson City Senior Center is hosting three presentations for National Consumer Protection Week.
“How to Recognize & Prevent Scams”, presented by Kate Kramer, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 12:30 p.m.
“Emails and Links: Real or Fake?” will be presented by Courtney Warner, Carson City Senior Center, will be held on Thursday, March 7 at 12:30 p.m.
“Local Scams Targeting Seniors,” presented by Sgt. Brett Bindley, Carson City Sheriff’s Office, will be held on Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. The event is free to attend and will be presented at the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive. RSVP’s for the event are not necessary.
