If the patient does not have an email, they will receive a phone call from CCHHS notifying them of the rescheduled date.
The second dose events that are rescheduled were for Moderna second doses. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is a series vaccine consisting of two doses administered 28 days apart. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Moderna COVID-19 vaccines may be administered up to 6 weeks (42 days) after the first dose without changing the efficacy of the vaccine.
All other events that were previously scheduled for this week will be held as planned without any adjustments.

The numbers for the week were delayed. The doses were received on Feb. 22, 2021. The low number of doses administered this week was due to the delayed delivery. There may be a difference in the number of doses administered and the number of doses received due to a variance in the number of doses in each vial. The number of "extra" doses in each vial varies.
