Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team arrests pair at apartment complex
Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team arrested two Thursday at a South Nevada Street apartment complex following an investigation into a felony warrant that led to the location.
Peter Reinschmidt, 34, was wanted for parole and probation violation. His girlfriend, Dannika Barstow, 33, was also in the apartment residence. She was placed into custody for alleged drug related offenses as was Reinschmidt, according to a sheriff's office news release.
On Wednesday, Feb. 14, Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team obtained information from Parole and Probation that Peter Reinschmidt was wanted. SET conducted an investigation and located Peter at the apartment complex in Carson City, the release states.
On Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, Carson City SET was able to confirm that Peter was inside his residence. A warrant was obtained and SET made entry into the residence, according to CCSO.
The two were placed in custody. They were also booked for drug related offenses, including possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, according to CCSO.
Reinschmidt was booked with a no bail hold for probation violation and suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. Barstow was booked for suspcion of possession of a controlled substance. Bail: $2,500.
