Nevada Humane Society, Carson City's Pet of the Week: Mademoiselle
The Nevada Humane Society's Pet of the Week is Mademoiselle, an affectionate and gentle 16-year-old, who is up for adoption at the Carson City shelter.
Mademoiselle came to us a little less than a month ago, and we have loved getting to know her. She does have renal disease, so she needs to be on the renal diet for the remainder of her life, but she is otherwise doing great. The vets also recommend regular blood work to monitor her kidneys, but in the meantime, we'd love to find a home for her!
Here is what Mademoiselle has to say about herself:
"As a feline nearing her golden years, I've had my fair share of experiences, but I've still got plenty of love to give. My name is Mademoiselle, and I've become quite the favorite at the shelter. Despite my age of 16 years, I still have that spark in my eye, and oh, how I adore attention! I've always been a fan of cozy naps and gentle pets, and I'm not about to change that now. So, if you're looking for a loyal companion who will cherish every moment spent by your side, look no further. I may be small, but my heart is big, and I promise to fill your days with warmth and joy. Won't you give me a chance to be your faithful friend?"
The best news is that Mademoiselle is free to adopt! You can meet her at the Carson City Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road, Carson City, NV 89701, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to learn more. We are open every day from 11:00 am-6:30 pm.
