Carson City investigators seek suspects in burglary at Living the Good Life nightclub

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help identifying two suspects wanted in connection to a burglary that happened early Sunday at Living the Good Life Bistro and Nightclub on North Carson Street.

On Sunday Feb. 7, 2021 at approximately 4:45 am, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at the nightclub, restaurant at 1480 North Carson Street in Carson City.

Deputies arrived and discovered a burglary had occurred. Surveillance video showed two male suspects making entry into the building where they damaged cash registers, slot machines and an ATM. The two suspects left on foot going North on Curry Street toward Long Street carrying a cash register drawer.

One suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white strips on the sleeves. The second suspect was wearing a dark colored jacket with a hooded sweatshirt underneath the jacket.

Carson City Fire Chief Sean Slamon reports the fire that started just before 12:30 this afternoon was knocked down shortly after firefighters arrived. The cause of the fire, between 1 to 2 acres, is under investigation. A Carson City sheriff's deputy was told by the homeowner the fire started from a lawnmower. There were no structures that burned.

Carson City firefighters with the help of a sheriff's deputy and neighbors were able to knock down a brush fire off of Meadow Wood Lane in the Lakeview area on Wednesday afternoon.

UPDATE 12:49PM: Carson City Fire Department reports making progress on the fire, with the firefighters knocking it down. The fire was about an acre in size and had been threatening nearby homes.

Carson City Fire Department was called this afternoon to the 4000 block of Meadow Wood Lane in the Lakeview area for a brush fire that is threatening homes in the Lakeview area.

A brush fire that began Monday night southeast of Pyramid Lake has grown to an estimated 300 acres, according to Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center, which monitors fires in the region.
