Carson City deputies make DUI, drug and warrant arrests
A person was arrested early Thursday for suspicion of DUI, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
At around 2:35 a.m. a CCSO deputy was dispatched to the area of Blue Haven Lane for a non-injury crash. Dispatch advised the adult female driver hit a parked car and told them she was "driving drunk and hit a parked car," the arrest report states.
A deputy arrived and made contact with the driver. She was out of the vehicle and her car was parked down the street. She told the officer she had been driving after drinking and hit the parked car. Her right eye was black and the right side of her face was severely swollen, the report states.
Dispatch called for the Carson City Fire Department to check out her injuries. Officers later learned there was no air bag deployment.
Due to hitting her head, officers did not complete standardized field sobriety tests. She provided a preliminary breath test of .265, the report states. She was read the Nevada informed consent and told her she was being taken to the hospital for her injuries. The officer asked the woman if she would complete a blood draw. She agreed. Bail: $1,137.
