Carson City area casinos see 1.55 percent gain in December gaming revenue
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except for the Stateline south shore area of Lake Tahoe, saw a gaming profit, also known as “win” of $9,502,035.
Elsewhere, casinos at South Shore Lake Tahoe didn’t do as well, down 9.10 percent for the month, while North Lake Tahoe had a gaming win in the positive of 2.6 percent. Reno gaming establishments saw a dip in gaming “win” of 2.63 percent.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $999,664,756 for the month of December 2018.
This amounts to a 4.11 percent increase compared to December 2017, when licensees reported a gaming win of $960,233,574.For the fiscal year (July 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018), gaming win has increased 1.80 percent.
