December gaming revenue down in Carson City and Reno, up at south shore Lake Tahoe
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County excluding south shore Lake Tahoe, collected $9,319,949 in "gaming win" in December, down 1.92 percent over the same time in 2018. Meanwhile, Stateline casinos at Tahoe saw gaming revenue increases by 8.10 percent, or $18,169,196.
Elsewhere, gaming revenue in Reno was down 2.77 percent, while "gaming win" at Sparks casinos was up 2.05 percent.
Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,057,602,710 for the month of December 2019. This amounts to a 5.79 percent increase compared to December 2018, when licensees reported a gaming win of $999,678,537.
