Virginia Truckee Railroad seeks riders to solve a Valentine's Day murder mystery
The story of the Valentine’s Day Massacre has long been part of our fascination with organized crime and mob bosses. Six men associated with Mob Boss Bugs Moran entered a warehouse on Chicago’s North Side on February 14, 1929 and no one came out alive.
To this day, we mostly just have the grisly photos of the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. The ensuing investigation focused primarily on rival Chicago mobster Al Capone as the hit reeked of his distinct style.
But what really happened? Why wasn’t Bugs Malone in the warehouse? What were the gangsters doing there? How could Al Capone be involved? He was in Florida. Why was the lone survivor a German Shepard named Highball?
Get your gangster on and join us and the Funtime Theater Company as we take an hour long journey into the past on Saturday, February 11 at 4:30 pm on the Virginia Truckee Railroad and present to you our version of events on that fateful day.
Libations and tasty treats will be served and Tommy Guns will make an appearance. Take a break from reality and join us on what is sure to be an unforgettable evening! Tickets are $56 per person and reservations are available at virginiatruckee.com. Don’t wait too long, this one is sure to sell out.
