Carson City library director to speak at Democratic tele-luncheon
Carson City Library Director Tod Colegrove, PhD, will be the featured speaker at Monday's Democratic tele-luncheon. His presentation will provide a virtual tour of the library's facilities, features, courses and programs, with special emphasis upon how the the ongoing pandemic has affected hours and availability.
Dr. Colgrove holds a doctorate and masters in physics, as well as a masters of library and information science with concentration in competitive intelligence and knowledge management. He previously held the top job at Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records, and before that was director of the internationally recognized DeLaMare Science & Engineering Library at the University of Nevada Reno. An emeritus professor, he served on the faculty of UNR's Physics department and Honors College. He also has fourteen years of entrepreneurial experience in computer systems administration and the telecommunications industry.
