Pack 100 delivers for the holidays
DAYTON, NV – Pack 100 of Dayton Nevada collected several hundred pounds of food for the Dayton Food Pantry during their annual “Scouting for Food” event this last week.
The boys of Pack 100 spent two weeks canvassing the Dayton and Mark Twain neighborhoods going door to door seeking donations with incredible success.
Pack 100 Cub-Master, Lee Kennedy said: “This year the boy’s collected more food than any other year prior. It was an amazing effort and these boys should be proud of their efforts. We are all so proud of them.” Dick Goodrick, a volunteer at the pantry stated that “The pantry fed approximately 1700 people last month alone…the boy’s effort will definitely help many families. Pack 100 really came through, again!”
