Carson City Ghost Walk events this Saturday
Carson City’s rich and intriguing history will be explored and theatrically relived this Saturday with two themed Carson City Ghost Walks.
Led by Madame Curry a ghostly, witty and fictional character named after the widow of Carson City’s founder, Abe Curry. The Carson City Ghost Walks are a delightfully spooky and enjoyable way to experience Carson City’s Victorian Era and diverse history.
Hear about lingering spirits of the long ago centuries, haunted and paranormal stories and gossip from the past. These are spirit lead, guided walking tour of the downtown district’s west side historic homes and businesses.
This Saturday features to big October Carson City Ghost Walks. The theme this year is TAROT. There are 2 paths — The MINOR Arcana enjoys a tour through The St. Charles Hotel, The Oclovich Meyers House, The Rinckel Mansion, Morley's Books and a performance by the Nevada Gunfighters.
The MAJOR Arcana enjoys inside tours of Due Sorella, The Hyman Olcovich House, The Orion Clemens House, The Krebs - Peterson House, The Governor's Mansion, The Bliss Mansion and The Prang House.
The Carson City Art Gallery/Stage Stop is on both tours. All tours meet at The McFadden Plaza and leave every 1/2 hour starting at 10 a.m. (The Major Arcana has tours through 2:30.
