Carson City Park Rangers to lead Oct. 23 Haunted Cemetery Tour at Lone Mountain
Registration is now open for the fourth annual Haunted Cemetery Tour at Lone Mountain Cemetery on October 23! Join the Carson City Park Rangers and students from the Carson High School drama class for a night of historical fun at Lone Mountain Cemetery. Come learn about famous historical figures at their burial sites and expect visits from Henry Marvin Yerington, P.H. Clayton, Hank Monk, and more!
This tour will be between 0.5 and 1 mile of walking. Closed toed shoes and layers are a must for this night time activity. It'll be dark so flashlights are recommended if you need them; the Park Rangers will also be able to light the pathway.
This program is open to participants 13 and older. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. A $10 donation to Lone Mountain Cemetery is not required but strongly encouraged. You can pay the donation upon checkout or in cash at the activity. Dogs are not welcome on this activity as all pets are prohibited inside Lone Mountain Cemetery. You will not be able to participate if you bring along a pet.
The tour will take place Saturday, October 23 at 7:00pm at Lone Mountain Cemetery, 1044 Beverly Dr. Carson City. Online registration is required at the following link here.
