Woodbury endorsed by Law Enforcement Association
CARSON CITY – Jason Woodbury, candidate for Carson City District Attorney, today announced he has received the endorsement of the Carson City Sheriff’s Supervisory Association.
“I sincerely appreciate the support of the Sheriff’s Supervisory Association,” said Woodbury. “And I look forward to working with these fine individuals to strengthen the relationship between our two offices and improve the quality of law enforcement delivered to Carson City.”
Woodbury adds this endorsement to endorsements by the Builder’s Alliance, NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, the Carson City Democratic Central Committee, the law firm of Dyer, Lawrence, Flaherty, Donaldson and Prunty, and Congressman Mark Amodei.
Woodbury, 41, has spent his entire legal career practicing in Carson City, beginning in 1998 when he was hired as law clerk for Judge Michael Griffin. Shortly after, he joined the Carson City District Attorney’s Office where he worked as a Deputy District Attorney from 1999 to 2003 before entering private practice. Woodbury is a partner in the law firm Kaempfer Crowell, where he works primarily in business litigation. This is Woodbury’s first run for political office. He and his wife, Stacy, live in Carson City where they are raising three children.
“I’m encouraged to see that my campaign’s positive message has been well-received by the supervisors in the Carson City Sheriff’s Office,” Woodbury said. “I proudly accept their endorsement as a call to action to fulfill my pledge to bring new leadership and a renewed commitment to professionalism to the Carson City District Attorney’s office.”
