Carson City Dodge for the Cause II aims to promote domestic violence awareness
The Carson City District Attorney's Office will host a friendly game of dodge ball it has dubbed "Dodge for the Cause II." This event will promote domestic violence awareness along with other community organizations.
The event will be Thursday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Athletic Center, also known as the MAC, 1860 Russell Way in Carson City. Signups are underway now. The entry fee is $10 per player. If you want to come and watch, a donation of $1 will charged at the door.
Any donations are appreciated and will go to benefit the development of a future Carson City Child Advocacy Center to support victims in our community.
Entry fee gets participants a T-shirt, water bottle, lanyard and trinkets. Winning team will get bragging rights and a trophy for one year until the next competition.

Purple is the color for domestic violence awareness. Organizers encourage teams and spectators to wear something purple!
