Join the Nevada Sagebrush Alumni Chapter at our sixth annual dinner, where we will honor our 2017 Frank McCulloch Sagebrush Lifetime Achievement Award recipient – Sig Rogich.Sig served as editor in chief of the Sagebrush from 1965-66 and is the president of the international advisory firm, The Rogich Communications Group in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among his many accomplishments, he founded R&R Advertising, he is a former US Ambassador to Iceland and has worked in a senior capacity on more than 600 elections including serving as senior advertising director for President George H.W. Bush and on President Ronald Reagan's Tuesday Team. Additionally, Sig spent four years working in the White House as a Senior Assistant for President George H.W. Bush. Sig is also a former Nevada System of Higher Education Regent and was named Distinguished Nevadan in 1992. The Frank McCulloch Award was created in 2013 to honor the accomplishments of alumni of The Nevada Sagebrush, the oldest student newspaper in Nevada. You won't want to miss this night of nostalgia and laughs! Funds raised will be used to send current Nevada Sagebrush staffers to the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) Conference or assist with other expenses.
