EXPLORE THE WORLD: Carson City Library hosts Valeri Wilson with discussion on Turkey
Carson City Library will host Valeri Wilson, currently a student at the University of Nevada, Reno, on Wednesday, September 2, at 6:30 pm for a presentation on the country of Turkey. Wilson studied at the Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey.
As a student in her final semester at UNR she is studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and psychology. While in Turkey she was able to study the sociology and culture of the country and its people. Join us to learn more about the diverse culture of the Turkish nation.
Explore the World @ Your Library is a program which hosts a series of presentations by people from other countries or by those who have traveled to far-away places. Previous nations that have been explored through this popular series include a wide variety of foreign countries and regions.
