A four-decade veteran of the Irish/Celtic festival circuit, Seamus Kennedy was first influenced by the legendary Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem. From them he learned the importance of not only being a solid musician, but also of being an all-round entertainer. He has a huge repertoire that includes traditional Irish music, classic Country & Western, American standards, Scottish ballads, and kids entertainment for “the wee ones.”
Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Seamus has been entertaining audiences all over the United States for almost four decades. An accomplished guitarist with a ready wit and a vast store of songs, he travels the country performing for thousands of people each year.
There will be a raffle drawing for a Celtic Thunder Prize Packet (2 tickets to Nov. 9 Reno show plus CD and DVD set).
