4-H hosts 'Juggling in the Park for Bigger Brains and Better Health' Thursdays in Douglas County
4-H is hosting Juggling in the Park for Bigger Brains and Better Health! Juggling is not just for clowns. The skill has long been recognized as a way to relieve stress, ward off Alzheimer’s disease, build concentration, improve dexterity and eye-hand-coordination, and it’s just plain fun!
Neuroscientists with MRI studies have also shown that learning to juggle produces more grey matter in the brain and improves the connectivity of the brain’s nerve fibres.
Come join us every Thursday from 10:30-12:00 as we jump from Minden to Lampe Park. We’ll have balls, rings, clubs, poi, flower sticks and more!
You will learn to juggle and have fun exploring various juggling props. No experience necessary. (But, if you can cascade already, better yet! Come see how to improve your skills!
