Open house tours of Carson City's historic Foreman-Roberts House offered this summer
See and hear highlights of Carson City history this summer with docent led tours of the Foreman-Roberts House on north Carson Street.
The Foreman-Roberts House Museum is a historic house and museum located at 1207 N. Carson St. in Carson City. The house was built in 1864 and moved in 1874. It was originally listed in the National Register as the James D. Roberts House, later changed to Foreman-Roberts when records proved Roberts did not build the house. It was built by Solomon Foreman.
Displays and artifacts from the owners (1860's) and fascinating historical information about Carson City are displayed. Light refreshments will be available.
Be among the first to experience the new exhibits and new combined museum and historic house settings and format.
