Warm Springs Correctional Center to host golf tournament for Special Olympics
CARSON CITY — Special Olympics Nevada is honored to have more than 500 law enforcement personnel from police, sheriff, corrections, highway patrol, marshals, military, and other state and federal agencies across the Silver State involved.
In addition to running the Flame of Hope to competitions, law enforcements officers statewide hold a variety of fundraising events. Throughout Nevada, LETR Officers volunteer their time to organize fundraisers such as Polar Plunges, runs, car shows bowling tournaments, golf tournaments, and participate as gust waiters at restaurants Tip-A-Cops.
At Warm Spring Correctional Center in Carson City we will hold three major fundraisers a year, including an inmate fundraiser, a golf tournament and cops and burgers at Max Casino in September.
The golf tournament will be on July 22, 7:30 a.m. check in at Empire Ranch 1875 Fair Way in Carson City. Cost $60 per person you can visit www.sonv.org/events/golf-tournament for more info.
