Tahoe Rim Trail Endurance Training Run
The Tahoe Mountain Miler running club will be hosting a training run for the up coming Tahoe Rim Trail Endurance Runs. This training run will take place Sunday June 11th starting at 7:00AM at the Western Nevada College parking lot in Carson City.
The trails are are permitted by Carson City Parks and Recreation & Open Space Department and the Humbolt-Toiyabe USFS.
The trails being used will be on the lower trails in Ash Canyon Jack Rabbit, Postal Route, Deer Run, Baldy Green, 4-Day and the Ash to Kings Canyon Connector Trail. Then upper Kings Canyons Road to Spooner Summit and then back using the same trails. 100-150 runners are expected.
Realizing there will be high traffic on these trails with mountain bike riders preparing the Epic Rides race the following weekend your cooperation and trail etiquette is requested. Runners will be told to move out of the way of riders whenever possible, however cooperation with riders and runners will make the day more enjoyable for all.
