Nevada Appeal publisher to speak at Carson City Democratic luncheon
Nevada Appeal publisher Rob Galloway will be the featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon. He also serves as group publisher of The Tahoe Tribune in South Lake Tahoe, The Record-Courier in Minden and The Lahontan Valley News in Fallon.
Galloway started his career in local media at the Nevada Appeal in 2002, working his way through a variety of positions, learning the ropes of the business along the way. In March 2012, he moved to the Reno Gazette-Journal, where he oversaw the team responsible for the RGJ’s largest book of sales and helped launch the Reno.com URL for the Gannet-owned operation. Sierra Nevada Media Group named him Appeal publisher in the Fall of 2018.
This event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 6th, in the banquet room of Carson City's Round Table, on Retail Drive just off College Parkway. Sponsored by the Democratic Men's Committee, these luncheons help keep the lights on at Carson City's Democratic HQ. Suggested donations of $5 or more gratefully accepted but are not required. All are welcome.
