"I am done with Physical Therapy... Now what?: Managing Medical Conditions with Exercise" Mini-Workshop
Are you dealing with chronic pain or a nagging minor injury? Have you had surgery? Do you have diabetes, heart disease or some other chronic condition? And have you exhausted your physical therapy visits? This mini-workshop covers the post-physical therapy management of common orthopedic and chronic conditions.
We all know how important exercise is for a healthy and fruitful life. But when we are dealing with conditions, whether orthopedic or otherwise, exercise plays an even more important role in quality of life. But the type of activity and knowing what to do and what not to do is very important.
In this mini-workshop, Medical Exercise Specialist, JoAnna P. Brennan, will discuss many of these common conditions and how to manage them safely and effectively with exercise. A little bit of the right stuff done regularly can make a world of difference. And many management exercises can be done not only in the gym, but at home or at work. Come with questions and ready to interact during this mini-workshop, as it will be tailored to the needs of the attendees.
