Wild Horse Children's Theater presents Annie, Jr.!
“The sun will come out tomorrow!” Wild Horse Children’s Theater presents the musical “Annie, Jr.” weekends March 10th and 17th at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall in Carson City.
Based on the Broadway favorite and well-known comic strip, “Annie, Jr.” recounts the adventures of a spunky Depression era orphan (Annie) determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage, run by the sinister Miss Hannifin.
In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt and finds a new family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
Its upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made “Annie” one of the most beloved musicals in history. Among the many familiar musical numbers are “Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” and “Tomorrow.”
Performances of “Annie, Jr”. are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for seniors and students and $5 for ages 4-12 and can be purchased on our website at www.wildhorsetheater.com or by calling 440-1170. Bring the entire family for this magical musical!
