Feeding Pets of the Homeless to host charity concert, pet food drive at Carson City's BAC
Feeding Pets of the Homeless is hosting its first ever Give a Dog a Bone Pet Food Drive & Charity Concert at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall in Carson City.
On March 11, take part in what is sure to be an instant classic. Indulge the timeless craft of songwriting, while lending a helping hand to the less fortunate. This one-of-a-kind event features the artistry of world-class regional and local performers: The Sam Chase, Greg Gilmore, and Rachael McElhiney.
The homeless with pets are often desperate to find a shelter to go to that will allow their pets. They seek help to find an agency that will give them pet food.
They are frantic to find emergency veterinary care for injuries or illnesses. 3.5 million Americans are homeless and five to ten percent of homeless people have dogs and/or cats. In some areas of the country, the rate is as high as 24%. Feeding Pets of the Homeless seeks to alleviate some of the already harsh pressures faced by those in need, by helping their furry friends in need.
BAC regulars will remember The Sam Chase from his Levitt AMP appearance with Loud As Folk in 2021.
Pre-Sale tickets are available for just $20, or $17 for seniors and BAC members. Day of show tickets will be available at the door for $25.
6pm Reception, 7pm Concert
We encourage concert goers to bring pet food to help the pets of people experiencing homelessness in Northern Nevada.
