Carson City homeless advocate to speak at Democratic tele-luncheon

January 4, 2021 - 12:00pm Dee Dee Foremaster, Executive Director of the Rural Center for Independent Living (RCIL) and Do Drop In day refuge for the homeless and mentally ill will be the featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon. Her presentation will be an update on all the great things that have been happening at RCIL since her last luncheon appearance.
In her latest Facebook post, Dee Dee wrote: "For those of you who are not aware, we have moved. Our new address is 3579 Highway 50 East, Door #C, Carson City, NV 89701. Our mailing address is still the same PO Box 3177, Carson City, NV 89702. It has been very difficult moving in the middle of a pandemic, and we still are unpacking because it is hard finding people to help! So I am also working my grant and assisting people by phone and in the field, so if you need help please call me on my cell at (775) 450-3729. I have had my business phones hooked up twice through Spectrum and I am hoping they are finally working (775) 841-2580!! I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused anyone but with the pandemic we are living in a much more difficult world then we where a year ago! It took me a week and a half just to get my electricity turned on. My special thanks to my dear friends Johney, Gabby, Scott, John, Paul and Katherine. Without their assistance I would have never been able to move!! And also their Patience and understanding as I went through grieving the loss of my best friend of 50 years in the middle of it!! Thank You all!"
