The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to the public. It will feature artists, vendors, musicians and other nonprofit groups in advance of the holiday season.

The event was memorable though I don’t recall the menu, for the food was secondary to the overall event. What I recall most was the delight of children as they spied Santa and Mrs. Claus or the elves.

In recognition of this incredible discovery, the Nevada State Museum and the Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada in Carson City will be hosting special events this week commemorating the first anniversary of Nevadadromeus, the first official dinosaur discovered in the Silver State.
