The Morgan Mill High-Water Mark unveiling will be held on Nov. 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Morgan Mill River Access Area, 5597 Morgan Mill Road. This high-water mark project is an outreach tool designed to let people know their flood risk and to underscore how floodplains and open spaces work together to reduce their flood risk.

Jerry Griffin, aged 82, of Reno, NV passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024. Jerry was a 25-year Navy veteran who proudly served his country. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He loved spending time with family, traveling with his wife, and playing tennis. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge.

Bob Israel is a self-taught guitarist who sought out formal jazz guitar training from the late Paul Wingo ​& classical guitar training at the University of Hawaii. As a result, Bob created a distinctive guitar style, which incorporates jazz, blues, classical, bluegrass, and rock n’ roll.
