Carson High School (CHS) crowned Anna Turner and Lucas Wold as the 2023 Homecoming Queen and King. Additionally, prior to the start of the game, CHS also honored the 2023 Football Hall of Fame inductees.

Funds raised at Tahoe Beach Club's Alpenglow Festival were donated to Clean Up T

Tahoe Beach Club, known for its unparalleled commitment to the Lake Tahoe community and environment, has successfully raised over $52,000 through its "Right Footprint" summer 2023 campaign.

A significant portion, $25,772, was generously donated to Clean Up The Lake for the launch of their innovative Environmental Dive Center (EDC) in Incline Village, NV.

The speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Ron Pardini, PhD, emeritus professor of biochemistry at the University of Nevada-Reno. Dr. Pardini will tell the story of his decades-long quest to find effective nutritional approaches to cancer therapy. On September 29, 2023, at approximately 1354 hours, Lyon County Sheriff's Office deputies went to the 200 block of Granada Street in Fernley, Nevada where they located and arrested 30 year old Cory Tyler on a Nevada Parole and Probation warrant.

Hello fellow anglers. You can tell when fall has officially arrived. The sun is going down sooner, and it's time to put the heater in the boat. I have been on a little adventure over the last couple weeks fishing in our area.

During Wednesday’s Carson City Planning Commission meeting, commissioners unanimously approved a special use permit for the new fire station and emergency operations center proposed to be built off Butti Way.

The facility would include more than 18,000 square feet of space that will house a new fire station, an emergency operations center for the city, and the city’s IT department.
