A Carson City man with a lengthy list of drug-related offenses faces multiple felony charges after authorities found 11 grams of methamphetamine and a .22-caliber revolver during a search.
Ronald Lee Mitchell, 44, is being held in Carson City Jail. Bail has been set at $108,632.

Under a crescent moon in the thick of summer, Carson City was alive Wednesday night with great music, food, friends and the very best representation of community and spirit.

Twelve wild horses have now died in a Nevada roundup directed by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, half of them are colts and mares, according to the Associated Press. The BLM on its website says four more animals died or were put down because of dehydration or water intoxication.

A Silver Springs man faces multiple charges, including felony assault with a deadly weapon, after he allegedly pointed a gun at his girlfriend and threatened to kill her.
Brian David Hannahs, 48, is being held on $28,132 bail. Charges include assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, DUI second offense, and carrying a concealed weapon.
