A 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested on five felony weapons charges and one gross misdemeanor of child neglect and danger after allegedly living in the Children's Museum and stockpiling weapons.

Carson City area casinos saw a 1.35 percent increase in gaming generated revenue for the month of May compared to May 2021, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Statewide, gaming revenue was up 5.71 percent.
