• A female Douglas County resident in her 50’s with connection to a previously reported case.
• A male Douglas County resident in his 80’s with connection to a previously reported case.
• A male Carson City resident in his 50’s with no connection to a previously reported case.

At 4:49 p.m. Carson City firefighters were dispatched to a dumpster fire on E. Fifth Street near Carson Meadows.

According to the reporting party, a wooden garbage container is on fire and is approximately two feet away from a structure.

According to the report, Allen Lee Parkins and Kesa Dawn Pascal were arrested by Special Enforcement Team deputies after deputies spotted Parkins and Pascal leaving a hotel known for “heavy drug traffic.”

Carson City emergency crews responded Thursday afternoon to a vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the area of Stewart and William streets in which the motorcycle rider fled the scene. He was found later located and detained in the 800 block of North Carson Street.

Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak notified state employees Thursday of proposed plans to address the projected Fiscal Year 2021 budget shortfall.

Preliminary estimates indicate approximately a $900 million General Fund shortfall, when combined with the Distributive School Account, the revenue shortfall increases up to $1.3 billion in Fiscal Year 2021. The Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Mono County, Mineral and Southern Lyon counties, Hawthorne, Yerington, Smith Valley, Mina, Schurz, Fernley, Fallon, Lovelock, Silver Springs, Nixon, and Imlay. Carson City, and Carson Valley are not in the Wind Advisory area.
