We have received a report of a bank robbery this morning at the South Carson Street branch of Nevada State Bank. Authorities are looking for a white female subject, late 20s, long brown hair, wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans and a camo-pattern hat. She was last seen on crossing Snyder Ave. on foot after the robbery. There is also a report that the subject may have left a light blue truck behind after the robbery. We will have more details as they become available.

Paul Schat's Bakery is closed today after the popular eatery suffered a small electrical fire in a back room last night. Workers are on site cleaning up the establishment, and were handing out free baked items from yesterday to customers coming in the door. The fire did no visible damage to the public areas of the restaurant. They hope to be open tomorrow, depending on how fast they can clean up.
