Nevadans interested in training to become foster parents in rural Nevada have an opportunity to join a four-session virtual training beginning Jan. 20, 2024.

The Nevada Division of Child and Family Services is working to recruit and train foster families in Nevada’s 15 rural counties to support children in need.

Carson City Sheriff's Office seeks identity of suspect in storage facility burglary

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a storage facility located in the area of Highway 50 and Fairview that occurred August 31, 2023. Throughout the course of the investigation, photos of the suspect have been obtained.
