Fatal crash in Gardnerville: NHP and Carson City Sheriff's Office assist in investigation

A fatal vehicle crash happened late Tuesday afternoon in the area of Tillman Lane and Patricia Drive that involved a pursuit with a parolee absconder in which a passenger in the suspect's vehicle died in the crash, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Carson Valley Community Theater and the Douglas High School Drama Department have teamed up for a production of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." Auditions are Dec. 1 at 6:00 p.m. and December 4 at 10:00 a.m. The cast includes both adults and teens.

Piano accompaniment is available or bring your own music. 

Show dates are March 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 7:30, March 20 and 27 at 2:00pm.
