A special meeting of the Carson City School District Board will be held Monday, April 26 beginning at 6 p.m. in the Robert Crowell Board Room at the Carson City Community Center, located at 851 E. William Street.
Items to be discussed during the special meeting include possible action on whether to open the Carson City School District schools to all pre-K through 12 grade students for attendance in person five days a week for the remainder of the school year.

A 45-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for multiple misdemeanor offenses including two counts battery, one count assault, among other alleged crimes, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a series of vehicle burglaries in the Hot Springs Road area since the end of March 2021. Vehicle windows have been broken out and property taken from the vehicles.

Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting Tuesday, April 20, 2021 that there is an additional death due to COVID-19 in the Quad County region. CCHHS is also reporting 27 new cases and 13 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad County region.
Nevada first in nation to pursue seed funding to open savings accounts for people with disabilities
