Nevada State Parks launches new Junior Ranger program

CARSON CITY — On Saturday, April 24, Nevada State Parks will launch a new Junior Ranger program to give Nevada’s kids an exciting new way to learn about the nature that surrounds them, whether it’s in their own backyard, or in a Nevada State Park.

Carson City releases plans to reopen, so long as social distancing can be met

Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting 2 COVID-19 related deaths, 62 new cases and 46 recoveries from Saturday, April 17 to Monday, April 19, 2021 in the Quad County region. The fatalities were reported Monday and are two Lyon County residents.
