Carson City deputies arrest pair for beating victim with bat in front of toddler during burglary

Two Carson City men were arrested early Thursday morning on Tiger Drive after allegedly beating a man with a baseball bat in front of his toddler during a robbery.
Jose Rivera, 25, and Brandon Sanchez, 21, were arrested after dispatch received a call of a home invasion burglary in progress.

Adell and teammate Jordan Gunter shared the same first name since Little League all the way through their careers at Ballard High School in Louisville, Kentucky.
Carson Nugget to host Rolling Stones tribute band Labor Day weekend in Carson City

September 1, 2019 - 7:30pm The Carson Nugget in Carson City will present Rudy Columbini and The Unauthorized Rolling Stones, a tribute to the Rolling Stones over the Labor Day weekend.
The concert will take place Sunday, Sept. 1 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom inside the Carson Nugget, 507 North Carson Street.
