Western Nevada College offers women's self defense classes

This women's self-defense course focused on risk awareness, risk reduction and personal safety. It will teach you alertness, avoidance, space management, and a system of resisting possible assaults using simple-to-learn, gross-body movements that take advantage of natural instincts.

Defend against a bigger, stronger attacker. You will learn defensive moves against bear hugs, chokes, wrist grabs, being taken to the ground, knives, guns and more.
Seminar is $10 per person, with proceeds to benefit Advocates to End Domestic Violence.

FREE Women's Self Defense Seminar

This class is open to women ages 10 and up. Girls between 10-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have a signed release form on file at Carson ATA.
