May 5, 2014 (All day) A Washoe Tribal member will give a presentation to Jacks Valley Elementary School students on May 5 about the history of indigenous tribal lands and culture.
Jean "Yetta" McNicoll has shared her knowledge through her cultural presentation to third graders in nearby school districts for 15-plus years. She would like to educate the surrounding communities of all ages.
A free public educational presentation will take place at Jacks Valley Elementary School, 701 Jacks Valley Rd on May 5th at 6:00 PM.
