Five Northern Nevada Locals Elected to NCET board

Chris Boline, Kevin Brunet, Gabbi Hall, Bryan Haskin and David Zybert have been elected to the board of directors of NCET, a member-supported non-profit that produces educational and networking events to help people explore businesses and technology.

Boline, elected as NCET’s vice president of social media and image management, works as a lead-generation specialist with The Applied Companies in Reno.

New TV production company formed in Carson City

A new Carson City-based company is forming to create television shows targeting Baby Boomers. The Rockin 60's is a classic rock trivia game show that will offer cash prizes and products for people who can answer trivia questions, name 60's music and identify 60's photos as part of this tv show.

The company, formed by SJ Rose, stated that research shows Baby Boomers represent the generation with the greatest buying power in the history of our country.

Television Production (ages 12-Adult)

From initial planning to completion of a full fledged TV show. You will learn the digital cameras, lighting, audio, directing, and editing. We will use class members as the talent. Get certified to use the studio for public access with this class. Certification means you can make shows for free in the studio as long as it is for public broadcast on ACCtv.
