Carson High School student wins Lions Club youth speaker competition

February 12, 2024 - 12:00pm Nasia Perkins, a sophomore at Carson High School, won the Carson City Host Lions Club Student Speaker Contest on February 12th held at La Capital Cafe and Grill in Carson City. She was awarded a stipend of $75. Ms. Perkins is a member of the Carson High Speech and Debate Team coached by Patrick Mobley.

Kyle Allen, a freshman at Carson High School won the Lions Clubs District 46-Nevada Zone 1-C Feb. 19 competition on held at the Ormsby Room in the Sheriff’s Office in Carson City.
