Partly sunny skies and cool temperatures are expected Thursday with a warmup in time for the weekend. Events ahead around the capital city include a meeting of the Board of Supervisors, a discussion on holiday stress and dementia offered by Carson Tahoe Expressions Memory Care, and an afternoon hike hosted by Muscle Powered. Also ahead, Carson City's GOP will host a discussion with several political leaders representing the capital city. There will be a 'Glorious Expanse' artist reception at WNC Gallery, plus library activities and more.

November 21, 2019 - 6:30pm State Assemblyman Al Kramer, Sheriff Ken Furlong and Justice of the Peace Kristin Luis will meet with the Carson City Republicans at the next general meeting on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. Our political leaders will discuss their involvement with politics and how they are working with the community they serve. Our panel discussion will cover topics from them running for office, insights about their campaigns and how they are making an impact for our community.
