June 29, 2022 (All day) The El Dorado National Forest Interpretive Association will be offering a free Interpretive Hike, “Walk Among the Trees” @ 10AM June 29. Enjoy the lyrical words of John Muir while learning about the trees in the Mokelumne Wilderness area while taking a stroll through a magnificent Sierra Forest, starting at the Carson Pass Information Station on California Hwy 88. Each participant will leave with a better understanding of how to identify trees and much more! This is a 2 ½ hour, 2-mile hike on an easy trail.
