Arizona’s United States Senator John McCain has been a difficult Republican for libertarian limited-government conservatives like us to embrace. Often, we stand opposite him on important issues of the day. He is too lacking in overarching principle for our taste. James has called on him to retire and actually sided with his Republican primary opponents in 2010 and 2016.
Yet, today we are sad.

A recent left wing CNN poll indicates that Trump is fifteen points above Hillary on the issue of trust. Some feminist organizations are generating the old divide and conquer smear campaigns to argue that the laws broken by the Clinton crime family should be ignored because Trump's politically incorrect genitals are not to be trusted. This argument makes about as much sense as suggesting that men and women need different forums such as 'women to women' or 'man to man'. This is the disreputable strategy of divide and conquer to pretend that men and women share nothing in common.

The delightfully great and fresh gossip from a New York Fundraiser that Mitt Romney may yet try again to be our lected president delights every Democrat with their thinking cap on. Mr. Romney ran a weak kneed campaign a couple years ago-but at least he picked a better running mate than Senator McCain-(remember Sarah Palin-the glib attractive charmer who could not answer that very tough question: "what do you like to read?"

We arrived in Whitehorse late on June 18 and the next morning, we left, bright and early, for an all-day combination tour bus and train ride from Whitehorse, Yukon to Carcross, Yukon; to Fraser, British Columbia; to Skagway, Alaska; and then the return to Whitehorse.

With an unemployment rate above 9 percent, we do need more jobs. But there's a better chance of getting Sarah Palin to pose naked for a PETA anti-fur ad than there is of getting any kind of job-creating bill through a Congress held hostage by deficit-obsessed Tea Party Republicans.

CARSON CITY – Long-time Republican political operative Sig Rogich said today that Sarah Palin is not a viable candidate for president in 2012.
Rogich, who was involved in the campaigns of Ronald Reagan and both Bush presidents, said Palin, a Tea Party favorite and former Republican Alaska governor, is unelectable.

RENO – An enthusiastic crowd of several hundred Tea Party supporters showed up to cheer on former GOP Alaska Gov. and U.S. Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin today at one of what will be many stops across the county in advance of the Nov. 2 general election.
