Supervisor Schuette to speak at Democratic luncheon

April 8, 2024 - 1:00pm The featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Lisa Schuette, who has held the Ward 4 seat on the Carson City Board of Supervisors since 2021. She is currently seeking reelection to another four year term. In addition to her service on the board, Lisa is also a member of the Audit Committee, the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), the Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), the Board of Health, the Redevelopment Authority, the Redevelopment Authority Citizens Committee, and the Parks and Recreation Commission.

July 10, 2023 - 1:00pm Speaking at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Andy Hummel, PE, manager of water and wastewater utilities at Carson City Public Works. He will provide an overview of city's water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities, touching on those systems' history, operations, quality control and growth capacity, as well as current and future projects that may be of interest to the general public.
