November 2, 2019 (All day) Artists from Carson City, Minden and Gardnerville will be featured at the 25th annual Northern Nevada Artisan Show and Sale this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1-2 in Reno.
The event’s 25th anniversary will be dedicated to the memory of Jim McCormick, UNR Art Department chair, artist, curator and one of the founders of the show. Admission is free.

Parent, children, grandparents and more are welcome to create in our historical landmark building with our fantastic instructor, Suellen Turman. Materials and lunch are provided.

Nevada artists Paul Ford and Dennis Hinton, whose “Environmental Perspective” exhibit has been displayed at the Nevada Arts Council’s OXS Gallery since June, will take part in an artists’ reception and talk on Tuesday, Aug. 8.

September 13, 2016 - 7:00pm The Capital City Arts Initiative, CCAI, will present a talk by Tom di Maria, Director of the Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, Calif., this Tuesday, Sept. 13.
His illustrated talk, "Outside In", is next in CCAI’s Nevada Neighbors series. The talk will take place at 7pm at the Community Development building [the Brick], 108 E Proctor St, Carson City. There will be an informal reception for di Maria preceding the event at 6:15pm. The presentation and reception are free, and the public is cordially invited.
